With more than eight million slip-and-fall accidents annually in the United
States - 300,000 of them causing permanent injury or death - a patent-pending,
nonabrasive and nonskid application that has been adopted globally by
world-class surfers is being introduced to a variety of uses on old terra firma.
Called VersaTraction, the application actually becomes nonskid and non-slip when
wet. In its most common peel and stick format, VersaTraction is applied to such
surfaces as showers, bathtubs, pool decks, tile, marble and cement floors on a
thumbnail-thin sheet of polycarbonate, the same material from which bulletproof
glass is manufactured. Although VersaTraction is transparent, it can be ordered
in virtually any color or with any design - rendering it an ideal dual-purpose
medium for simultaneous branding with safety. Because the artwork is screened
beneath the polycarbonate and VersaTraction coating, it can’t be erased, so the
colors and/or messages pop as brightly as on an LCD TV. A variety of adhesives
can be chosen, from permanent to peelable. VersaTraction has received the
highest non-slip, nonskid ratings: an R11 ranking for oil and wet non-slip
resistance; an F in the Wet Pendulum Test, and a B in the Wet Barefoot Test (the
highest rating given). Additionally, it has passed exhaustive laboratory
longevity tests, so VersaTraction comes with a lifetime guarantee for nonskid
efficacy. For more information, contact your sales representative, or go online
