Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Is the "clear" see through enough to see the color of the board? A: When it's dry the product has something of a hazy, frosted glass effect to it. When it's wet, however it's as clear as glass. Any color or graphics on your board will show through in full detail. Q: Does it yellow over time? A: VersaTraction products are highly tolerant to UV exposure and with proper care are not known to discolor over time. Keep the surface clean in order to maximize both traction and appearance. Q: How long do you expect it to last before it starts to peel up? A: Given that proper care is taken to remove all dirt, oil, and other contaminants from the application surface before installing of the product, we do offer 1 year warranty against product peel-up, although given normal wear and tear conditions, the product should last for years. Q: Does it have a sticky feel to it and if so, does sand stick to it? A: The product is smooth, slightly textured and not 'sticky' to the touch but will provide traction and outstanding grip properties under body weight. VersaTraction™ Installation Procedure: Thoroughly clean, removing all wax, dirt, oil and grease from surface area where you will be applying your VersaTraction pads. For best results apply a non-oil based solvent such as mineral spirts, paint thinner, or denatured alcohol to remove any residue. Repeat process if residue persists. Rub down with dry cloth and let dry completely. Unpeel the protective backing paper, exposing adhesive. Carefully place exposed adhesive edge to surface, and press down firmly. Make sure that you try to eliminate as many air bubbles as possible by smoothing down product onto surface while applying. Maximize traction by cleaning entire surface with Comet brand (non-abrasive cleanser) and water – using a soft scrub brush. Anti-Slip Ratings/Product Specifications:
