San Clemente local, Travis Mellem is 23 years old and started surfing at the age of 10 and began competing shortly thereafter. At the age of 14, he won his first Amateur Conference Championship and went on to win 4 more in years following. Travis then went on to win an Amateur National Championship. Travis is now traveling the world, training and surfing hard to make a push on the WQS and qualify for the CT. Travis is a media stand out with many editorials, photo spreads, TV shows and movie appearances.
